Some kudos and high fives for Bryan City Schools and Central Local Schools as they have proven that workplace health is nothing to sneeze at, with both being named among the 150 healthiest workplaces by wellness program manager Interactive Health, which serves more than 3,000 firms in all 50 states. The list was recently featured by ABC’s Good Morning America as they highlighted employee wellness. To achieve a spot on the list, a workplace had to have 70 percent or more of its employees involved in an internal wellness program, and a “low-risk health score for their total population, based on rigorous and clinically sound health evaluations.” The rankings also took into account improvements in employees’ reported level of health related to cholesterol, glucose levels, triglyceride levels or tobacco use.
