Vacant former Burger King restaurant at Ohio 49 and the Ohio Turnpike sold

The vacant former Burger King restaurant at Ohio 49 and the Ohio Turnpike has been purchased by a northeast Ohio development company. Ed Yasechko, a principal with Mid-Toll, Inc., a real estate development company based in Hubbard, Ohio, announced the purchase in a press release to The Bryan Times late Friday. The 2,860-square-foot building, on one acre in the 14000 block of Ohio 49, has been empty since Burger King vacated late last year. No purchase price was revealed and the sale has not been recorded at the county auditor’s office yet. Records show a fast food building was initially built on the site in 1996.
