Retiring Bryan social studies teacher receives distinguished award

Soon-to-retire Bryan social studies teacher of 31 years Kenneth Kuhn was chosen as the sixth ever Benedict Family Outstanding Educator of the Year at Bryan’s Academic Booster Club Awards ceremony Tuesday evening. Kuhn has spent his whole career at Bryan. Scott Benedict, representing the Benedict family, indicated his honor at presenting the award given in memory of his brother, the late Greg Benedict, who passed away in a car accident in October 2001. Kuhn received a standing ovation when he was presented the award.
