Dundee police chief, Todd Opperman has passed away. Opperman,42, was found dead of natural causes in his home by his father. Village Manager, David Uhl says Opperman recently had a procedure. Opperman told Uhl he was okay, but that he would not be coming into work Monday. Dundee has 15 officers. The village will appoint an interim sheriff, as a search for a new one begins.
