The new Defiance Middle and High School was dedicated. During the ceremony, Lou Cooke of Gov. John Kasich’s office presented a proclamation, honoring the new campus. Superintendent, Michael Struble thanked the community for the new facility. Approximately 580 students in grades 6-8 and 810 in grades 9-12 are attending the school, which opened last week. Defiance Mayor, Mike McCann said the facility can be also be used as a great economic development tool for the area.
