A Bryan woman dies from the flu. The mother of three was in her early thirties. She was admitted into the Community Hospitals and Wellness Center in Bryan early last week and was later transferred to Parkview in Fort Wayne. She was eventually taken to an Indianapolis hospital, where she died. Influenza deaths continue to accumulate around the state, due largely to the quickly mutating and potent H3N2 strain that has taken hold this flu season. Statewide, hospitalizations from influenza are already up 300 percent from last season.
