Project 2020 Is Coming

The deadline for project ideas is drawing near and those affiliated with Project 2020 are preparing for the next phase of the major local initiative. Project 2020 started eight years ago when a group of area residents came up with idea to build money over time in order to finance a major project in the Bryan area. An estimated $225,000, or perhaps more, will be available. From March through May, the committee will narrow the proposals to three finalists. During that time, the committee will meet with city committees to consider how each of the finalists fit into the city’s plans.
