Mop Case Nears End

A Toledo man, accused of hitting another man in the face with a mop handle at the Corrections Center in Stryker pleads guilty. OT Graves made the plea in a Williams County courtroom. Prosecutors say Graves committed the assault last November, when both he and the victim were held in Stryker. Graves initially plead not guilty by reason of insanity to a charge of felonious assault. He requested a competency evaluation during a pretrial hearing in February but was ultimately found to be competent for the proceedings. Sentencing is set for May 9.
