Bryan Municipal Utilities is lowering the cost of the renewable energy credits generated by its solar field on Ohio 34. The energy credits are tradable commodities that indicate electricity was generated from a renewable resource. BMU’s solar credits were sold on the market at a minimum price of $35. Now, the new minimum is $3. The move was made in response to the decreased market value of those credits.
