Storm Leaves Damage In WU

A surprise storm leaves behind snapped trees and some dangling wires in West Unity. Officials told reporters the tree and some of the wires fell onto the roadway East Jackson Street. Debris is reported to have damaged a residence on North Liberty Street as well. Most of the damage was centered around the northeast part of town. Forecasters say the storm in West Unity was the result of a thunderstorm that developed to the east and south. Crews are still out going over the damage.
