Fire damages a New Haven home. Firefighters were called to a Park Avenue residence shortly after midnight…the blaze was in the basement. Crews arrived and found the home filled with smoke. Additional firefighters were called to the scene. The blaze was under control in 30 minutes. Several people in the home made it out safely. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
