A seven hour standoff at a Fremont motel ends in an arrest. Joshua Kelley of Kendallville fired shots at officers when they tried to gain entry to his room. Backup and negotiators were then brought in. After several hours, the police fired tear gas into the room. Kelley responded with more gunfire but was eventually brought out. Kelley is held at the Steuben County Jail without bond. No one was hurt.
