New numbers…DeKalb County was the only area county that saw a decrease in its unemployment rate in August…its rate fell from 3.2 to 3.1 percent. LaGrange County’s rate has been climbing each month since hitting a low of 2 percent in April. Vermillion County had Indiana’s highest rate at 5.9 percent.
