Firefighters battled a blaze at central Indiana’s Pendleton Correctional Facility. Spokesman Ike Randolph says the fire was in a workshop at the men’s prison about 20 miles northeast of Indianapolis. Local fire departments were battling the blaze. Officials tell reporters the fire began in a building that houses the prison’s auto body center. After roughly an hour, the blaze was under control. Indiana State troopers were on the scene to help with security at the prison.
