Beef Steal In Swanton

Someone breaks into a barn on County Road 1 in Swanton…picks out a steer…and kills it. The suspect also butchers the carcass and gets away with the meat…about 200 pounds of it. The property owner says he saw people on his farm earlier but didn’t make the connection. Investigators say they are having difficulty nailing down a suspect. The investigation continues.
