A Protest Against The Aquifer Plan

Here’s the latest on the aquifer story. Susan Catterall of Hamilton Lake is going over to Pioneer, where Artesia of Pioneer owner, Ed Kidston is also mayor. Her goal?…a protest vigil during the council meeting. Catterall, like many around here, is dead set against the plan to drill into the aquifer and ship millions of gallons of water to towns not over the subterranean body. The vigil also is a protest against a resolution the Pioneer Village Council is considering to restrict discussion and debate to the plan during council meetings.
