A car theft leads to a high speed pursuit and injuries. Officials tell reporters the suspect stole a vehicle in Avilla. Minutes later, it’s spotted east of Kendallville by officers, on Highway 6, near State Road 27. The chase begins. Reaching speed over 100 mph, the pursuit gets on I 69, then to State Road 205. The car then goes airborne at the State Road 3 intersection…the driver loses control, side swipes a trailer…rolls…the car ends up on its top. No major injuries reported. No word on charges yet.
