Car Chase Leads To Arrest

A Springfield, Mo., man is brought in by police after a high-speed pursuit through Defiance and Paulding counties. Michael St. Onge is charged with two felonies in the chase, plus his car was stolen. Officials say the chase begins on eastbound 24, when a state trooper tries to pull over St. Onge for speeding. Speeds reached about 100 mph. After he was able to get around some stop spikes, laid down by deputies, the chase continues on to County Road 143…and eventually onto Powers Road. He tried cutting through a residence and into a nearby cornfield before his car failed. St. Onge is in Stryker, awaiting a court date.
