Tressler Case Update

Here’s the latest on the Scotty Tressler trial. Tressler, accused of various sex-related crimes, waived his right to a speedy trial during a pretrial hearing in Williams County. He has been indicted for kidnapping, sex charges and rape. Each charge has a specification that Tressler is alleged to be a sexually-violent predator. The ages of the victims range from 6-13 in the case. Bond in the case was set at $1 million with no 10-percent allowance on Nov. 21. He also was ordered to have no contact with the alleged minor victims or any minor children. He is housed at the Corrections Center in Stryker.
