Defiance Fire Handled

Crews from three departments take on a blaze at a residence on Defiance’s Shamrock Lane. Officials say the fire was contained to a bathroom, after having entered a wall. The cause was attributed to an accident while remodeling work was occurring. Firefighters extinguished the interior walls. An investigation into the fire is underway by both state and local officials.
