Repairman Hurt In Huntertown

A person is rescued from the roof of a Walgreens store in Huntertown, on E. Dupont Road, near Leo Crossing. Officials tell reporters a worker was on the roof working on the heating unit and fell on the ice, breaking his leg. He was unable to climb down off the roof of the building. Huntertown Fire brought in a ladder truck, stabilized the man in a basket and brought him down. No word on the man’s condition. State and local investigators for both emergency services, as well as workplace safety, are on the case.
