There will be some noticeable road work going on this year in Bryan. City officials say the projects will be underway along much of Main Street and Townline Road. Construction is set to begin March 18 and should be finished in July. Main Street will remain open during the work…there will be no major detours, though traffic may be reduced to one lane in either direction. When finished, the project will feature handicap-accessible ramps and some curbing. The cement island, along the northmost portion of Main Street, at the railroad overpass, will be gone, also. Officials say expect some traffic issues from time to time.
