CENTRAL LOCAL DELAYS DECISION ON SCHOOL

Peo­ple liv­ing within the Cen­tral Local School Dis­trict area will have to wait a year before learn­ing the fate of their school build­ing.

The Bryan Times is report­ing that The Cen­tral Local Board of Edu­ca­tion has decided to put off until Sep­tem­ber of 2014 any vote on whether to build a new facil­ity.

The board, accord­ing to the Times, plans to estab­lish a dia­log with dis­trict res­i­dents in the next year in order to be bet­ter pre­pared to make a deci­sion on the issue.
