Bowersox Case Update

Former Deshler police chief, Ryan Bowersox is sentenced in a Henry County courtroom on drug charges. A search of his home last year netted anabolic steroids. Bowersox gets three years of community control. He also was fined $9,000, plus court costs. Bowersox was placed on administrative leave after search warrants were executed at his home and at the police department. He submitted his resignation two months later. Officials say the state had agreed not to seek prison time for Bowersox as part of the plea agreement.
