A broken fuel line, connecting a tank to a backup generator at a BMU substation breaks, causing quite a mess. Officials say a routine check at the County Road C location found around one thousand gallons of diesel fuel was all over the ground. Officials stress, the fuel did not reach any water source. They add it is a big mess and will take some time to clean up. Crews are working on it now. The thought is, the cold weather probably caused the spill.
