Two women are injured after their cars collide in DeKalb County, at the intersection of County road 327 and 11A, in Garrett. Officials say Carolyn Smith of Fort Wayne was on 11A. when she struck an SUV, head-on. Virginia Dickerhoof of Kendallville was in the second vehicle. Her car hit several trees before coming to a stop off the road. Both drivers complained of back and leg pains. They were taken to separate hospitals. Their cars were totaled.
