Edon Tax Update

Edon Northwest Local Schools took the final step in putting a measure on the ballot for the November 2019 general election. Up for a vote among district residents will be a renewal of a 1 percent tax on earned income for a period of five years. The tax generates roughly $450,000 a year, which goes directly into the general fund and toward operating costs, such as teacher salaries.
