BPD Recognized In Chambers

Bryan Police Chief, Michael Willis took time during the city council meeting to recognize and commend several officers. BPD was on scene Dec. 12, for a kitchen fire at a N. Cherry St residence. Officers, Steve Doctor and Jared McCann used a fire extinguisher to fight the blaze. Officer, John Rathke worked to alert and evacuate the upstairs residents…while Officer, Jesse Barrera did the same for the downstairs residents. Everyone was okay. That coordinated effort was appreciated in chambers.
