There could be new home building in one area town. Montpelier’s village council gave its preliminary approval of a plan for 15 homesites on the southwestern corner of the intersection of Maplehurst Avenue and West Brown Road. Officials describe the development as a $1 million investment in Montpelier. Potential homeowners will benefit from a 15-year, 100 percent tax abatement on improvements in the development…already approved by council.
