Scott Laser goes to prison…for 12 years. He will be eligible for release after 11. Last month, a jury found Laser guilty on two counts of aggravated menacing, corruption of a minor with drugs, firearms charges and more. The jury rendered a no decision for abduction charges. Laser was accused of posing as a police officer to arrest a Michigan runaway, the girlfriend of his 17-year-old son. Laser’s defense characterized the situation as a poor attempt at a joke.
