Daniel Oberlin, the Defiance man is sentenced to four years in prison for providing drugs that caused a woman to die in an overdose. Oberlin pled no contest to involuntary manslaughter. Prosecutors say Oberlin gave the Defiance woman drugs in a 2016 incident. In another Defiance County case, they say Oberlin sold methamphetamine to a confidential informant, twice in 2018.
