After meeting in executive session, the Bryan Board of Public Affairs votes to make this Veterans Day, Nov. 11, a paid holiday for all Bryan Municipal Utilities collective bargaining unit employees. The move applies only to the holiday in 2019 and the issue is subject to future contract negotiation. The board also signed off on routine semimonthly disbursements and recognized employees for earning safety awards recently. The board’s next meeting is slated for Nov. 5.
