Crews responded to the scene of a house fire on Cherry St. in Bryan. Fire teams from Edgerton and Montpelier helped out in the operation. All 12 residents were either away or had gotten out of the house before first responders arrived. The blaze was under control in roughly 20 minutes. Officials say it caused significant structural damage to the house. They say a kid got a hold of a lighter…and the rest happened.
