Williams County elections officials complete an audit of results of the Nov. 6 general election…no errors or inconsistencies were found. Post-election audits are normally required to be conducted following each general election in an even-numbered year and after each presidential primary election. This time around, after new voting equipment was installed, the state directed all boards of elections to conduct a post-election audit. Each precinct was counted by one Republican and one Democratic member of the four-member elections board.
