A subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. that operates Ohio’s two nuclear plants, is planning to move its headquarters early next year, from its current headquarters in West Akron to the former Akron Post Office. The utility filed for bankruptcy last year and intends to operate as an independent company under the name Energy Harbor. The company persuaded Ohio lawmakers this year to give its two plants near Toledo and Cleveland $150 million a year through 2026. About 150 employees will relocate.
