Crash In DKC

DeKalb County Sheriff’s Deputies are called to the scene of a crash at U.S. 6 and Commerce Drive, near County Road 31. Officials say a 17-year-old female who was traveling northbound on 31, failed to yield right of way to a second vehicle. The cars collided and came to rest just east of the intersection. Rebecca Gibson of Garrett, in the second vehicle was transported by EMS to Parkview Dekalb where she complained of chest pain. The 17-year-old complained of head pain, but was treated at the scene. The investigation continues.
