The Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office is working to find out what caused a fire that broke out at an education building at a Catholic church in Hicksville. Defiance County 911 got a phone call, indicating flames were visible at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Antwerp Drive. Crews were able to get the fire under control within 30 minutes. 50 students and teachers were inside at the time of the fire. Two juveniles were treated at the scene for possible smoke inhalation. No other injuries were reported. The blaze is under investigation at this hour.
