The City of Bryan declares a state of emergency. In addition to potentially allowing the city to apply for FEMA dollars, should it need assistance in the coronavirus fight, the declaration also closes all city government buildings to the public, with the exception of Bryan Municipal Court. It also suspends the city’s monthly big trash collection until the emergency status is lifted.
