BMU Bills Could Fluctuate

Bryan Municipal Utilities officials say bills can fluctuate during the hottest and the coldest months of the year, to reflect an increase in consumption…as customers crank up their air conditioning or heating and lawn irrigation systems. And with long-range forecasts calling for temperatures close to 90 for the next 10 days, residential utility bills for the next month or two could be higher than average. They say COVID-19 also plays a part in changes to residential bills because more people are working from home, driving up usage.
