OOPS! STRYKER ERROR NOTED

Renewal of an agri­cul­tural lease was a hot but­ton topic Mon­day night in Stryker.

The Bryan Times reports that three years ago bids were taken for a 34-acre prop­erty on the south side of the vil­lage. The high bid­der from that period was asked Mon­day to renew the lease for three more years. The renewal was approved.

After the vote how­ever, a big mis­take turned up.

It seems coun­cil voted on the wrong doc­u­ment with the wrong word­ing and wrong amount.

Now, cor­rec­tions will need to be made and approved by Stryker Coun­cil next month.
