The Long Arm Gets Amos

Joshua Amos, wanted in Williams County…in connection to the death of a Montpelier man in 2018, is now back in the county…after his arrest in Louisiana. Amos was picked up in Lincoln Parrish, roughly 220 miles north of New Orleans. Two deputies make the 14-hour drive to get Amos. He is now in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio. He made his initial appearance by video in the Williams County Court of Common Pleas. He is accused of selling heroin to someone…that person died soon after. Involuntary manslaughter and a list of drug charges are involved. He pleads not guilty.
