Plans to start building a steel plant in Delta this summer were delayed by the coronavirus pandemic…and now they have been pushed back to early next year. We reported Nova Tube and Steel, and their $70 million project, will eventually bring 102 jobs to the area. That’s now all pushed back to a Jan. 2022 date, for full operation. Construction of the building was supposed to begin back on May 1…but COVID-19 ended all that.
