Richcreek Case Update

The sentencing of an Oakwood man recently found guilty of fatally shooting his brother has been scheduled for next month. Donald Richcreek will be sentenced in a Paulding County courtroom for voluntary manslaughter. We reported Richcreek was indicted by a grand jury in September 2019. Prosecutors say Richcreek shot and killed his brother with a handgun at a residence in Oakwood, where both were then living. They add it was the result of an argument between the brothers, who at one time each had an intimate relationship with the same woman who also lived at the residence.
