The trial of a former North Central High School coach, accused of sex crimes has been postponed. Jared Stewart pled not guilty to three counts of sexual battery, in 2019. His trial was scheduled to begin this week. Stewart was indicted by a Williams County grand jury, following an investigation by Pioneer Police. Prosecutors say Stewart engaged in sexual conduct with a female student at school. He served as the North Central track coach through the 2018 season and subsequently resigned in light of the investigation.
