A Defiance woman is sentenced in Defiance County for a stabbing incident on Harrison Avenue, last year. Audrey Foust gets four to six-years behind bars, with credit for 339 days served in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, while her case was pending. Attempted murder charges were dropped in the case. We reported last November, Foust stabbed Terry Soto, an area man, with a kitchen knife in Defiance. The two knew each other. Soto sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Prosecutors noted Foust had suffered from drug abuse and mental health issues. Her competency had been evaluated, but she was declared ready to stand trial in May.
