The Bryan Board of Public Affairs approves the promotion of Derek Schultz to the position of water superintendent. Schultz has two decades of experience in the water industry. He has been BMU’s water treatment plant supervisor since 2013. BMU received six applications for the position and interviewed two candidates before offering the job to Schultz. His promotion takes effect on Nov. 30.
