Fire Put Down In SC

In Steuben County…a garage fire. Crews see the pillar of smoke coming from the E 15th North location. When they get there…the building is engulfed in flames…with the house starting to catch fire. They move in and extinguish the blaze. Several animals are in the garage at the time. All but a dog and several cats, didn’t make it. The home?…heavy damage. The garage?…a total loss. That’s not all…the flames spread to nearby vegetation…a stand of trees and some brush go up in the blaze. State and local investigators are looking into the fire, now. No injuries reported.
