In Edgerton…village employees won’t see a wage increase this year but the Village Council did vote to cover the 9% increase of their insurance premiums for 2021, including medical, dental and vision. Total cost to the village?…$17,500, while its employees with family coverage will save $118 per month…individuals with single coverage…$47 every month. Council approved the action…with five members in favor and Councilwoman, Leslie VanAusdale opposed. VanAusdale based her opposition on the absence of projections for village-matching contributions to Social Security, worker’s compensation, Medicare and the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System.
