Changes On Cable

About 15% of Bryan Municipal Utilities’ cable customers will be losing some channels in the near future, but officials say virtually all will reap the benefits of the change. The Bryan Board of Public Affairs votes to discontinue digital and digital HD cable services. Due to newly implemented government regulations and BMU’s unique system, continuing to offer the services would cost BMU about half a million dollars, plus additional costs for equipment and other expenses.
