COVID-19 cases at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers have jumped from zero in the first week of April…to nine cases in the past five days. Officials confirm six people have been admitted for treatment. The spike in cases comes as the number of county residents receiving COVID-19 vaccinations has slowed. Health officials are concerned only about 30% of the county is fully vaccinated. The goal has always been getting around 70 percent, their shots. The thought?…herd immunity will help turn the tide of the viral attack. Need a shot?…check online.
